NEWS TO ME is a current affairs comedy quiz show that brings together 6 distinctive talents from across the political spectrum and from the diverse fields of comedy, journalism, video and music.

Act I of NEWS TO ME features “SOLO SPOTS” in which the week’s Guest Host and each of the four Panelists offer their unique take on a top story in news.

Act II is kicked off by the week’s Special Musical Guest performing a topical/satirical song. Then, the Host becomes moderator for the rousing  NEWS TO ME QUIZ, in which the 4 panelists compete for a cash prize to their favorite charity.

NEWS TO ME aims to inform and amuse, giving the audience a personal understanding of – and  connection to – issues that may previously have been only “sound bites” to them.

In an era of endless “screaming heads” on cable talk shows, NEWS TO ME provides an antidote that is congenial rather than confrontational; it is about listening, laughing, and above all, leaving the viewer feeling happier – a smarter! – about current events.
