"FLAVORS OF JAPAN," a week-long celebration of Japanese culinary arts, took place March 4-10, 2007. The events included Japanese Restaurant Week (visit http://www.jprw.net) and "An Evening Japanese Food Culture" at the Marriot Marque Broadway Ballroom, featuring American super chef David Bouley and, from Japan, master kaiseki chefs Masahiro Kurisu, Motoi Kurisu and Kenichi Hashimoto. FLAVORS OF JAPAN was presented by The Japanese Food Culture Festival Committee, with project coordination by Gorgeous Entertainment.
